Lloyd was missing most of his right hand from a prop-bomb accident three years earlier and wore a prosthetic glove to hide it through every one of these climbs. The buildings were staged in forced perspective on rooftops with a mattress-covered platform just out of camera range — real height, real risk, no trick photography for the fall itself.
